I leave for orientation and staging in Washington DC on Wednesday, June 22 at 6:20am. I'll head off to South Africa from there on Thursday, June 23. I've spent the week at goodbye parties and packing, but I'm very excited to be leaving so soon.
Hi Karen, I'm so glad you're doing a blog! Uncle Don and I will be checking in often to keep up with you. I'm anxious to hear your tales and see your pictures. We love you. Stay well and stay safe. Aunt Rita

Just back from London and Ireland...there's a bed for you anywhere anytime...Switzerland has been quite tropical bur is back to cool and damp....perhaps you'd like a bit of that after the African heat. Much love, and keep up the good work.... Ray
